Details
For dogs of any breed or mix that have completed the below listed Health Department required vaccines. This class is appropriate for beginners as well as dogs that have had some previous training.
Dogs should have absolutely no aggression history to people or dogs nor any reactivity issues to dogs (these issues can be addressed in private lessons). Aggression includes biting, nipping, snapping, snarling, and growling. A dog need not have had multiple incidences nor have caused serious injury to have had an aggression history. If you arenβt sure what this means, please contact us.
The course meets for four consecutive (unless a skip date is noted on the schedule) one hour classes. If a class cannot be held in-person due to COVID or weather it will be held virtually.
Attendance is limited to two people/handlers per dog to best ensure social distancing. Students and instructors must wear face masks.
The class fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and there are no make-up classes. Prior to registering, please note the nature of offering limited space classes, the above stated policies, and that there are no exceptions. Please do not request an exception to the stated policies.
Proof of Vaccine Requirements: For dogs 16 weeks and older a record of their vaccinations must be signed by your veterinarian and include vaccine for: rabies, parvovirus, parainfluenza, adenovirus, bordetella, and distemper. If your veterinarian chooses not to give your pup one or more of these vaccines at the time of class, we must have a signed letter from them stating that it is contraindicated. Entry to classes is not permitted without Health Department required proof of vaccinations. Records must be uploaded 48 hours prior to the first class or you can bring a hard/printed copy with you to the first class.
