This course will introduce you and your dog to the fun sport of dog agility. Learn the fundamentals of agility obstacles and groundwork for fun, fitness and teamwork building with your dog. If you want to have a blast with your dog and your dog has a good foundation of manners training and no reactivity issues with other dogs and/or people this class is for you!

Introduce your dog to jumping, climbing, running and weaving through agility equipment using positive reinforcement techniques that will build your dog’s overall confidence and enthusiasm for the training game and teamwork with you. This class is for dogs who are 5 months and older and have no reactivity nor aggression issues with dogs or people. Two people may attend per pup.

  • Go through obstacles
  • Go under and over obstacles
  • Go arounds
  • See-saws
  • Weave poles
  • Balance balls
  • Improved attention

For dogs 5 months and older of any size, breed, or mix. Dogs should have no aggression history or reactivity issues. If you aren’t sure what this means, please contact us.

For dogs with a foundation in basic manners skills (such as attention, hand targeting, and sit, down, and stand).

The course meets for one hour per class for four consecutive weeks (unless otherwise noted on the schedule) and is $350 for the course. We also offer one time sessions at our UES location which are $87.50 per one hour session.

Two people may attend class with each canine student.

The class fee is non-refundable, non-transferable and there are no make-up classes for your course. We limit the number of students in a class (one person per pup may attend), so drop-in make up students would mean the class would be over the maximum.

You must provide us with a record your dog’s vaccination for rabies, parvovirus, parainfluenza, adenovirus, bordetella, and distemper which must be signed by your veterinarian. If your veterinarian chooses not to give your pup one or more of these vaccines at the time of class, we must have a signed letter from them stating that it is contraindicated. The stated proof of vaccine requirements are set by the Health Department. Entry to classes is not permitted without Health Department required proof of vaccinations. You must bring a hard/printed copy with you to the first class to give to the instructor to keep at the location.
